Final Concept

  1. A really interesting design concept. I know for a fact that olive oil packaging (or oil packaging in general) can be a nuisance whether its from the pouch or the big tin cans. For someone with arthritis, this design would be a great help in the kitchen. My only concern is if the packaging needs an outer lid on the bottom to prevent dirt or germs coming to contact to the opening. Nonetheless, it is a really thoughtful and innovative concept!

  2. New, simple and innovative design that provides the user a nurturing experience in terms of dispensing canola oil. The way you integrate the new mechanism in the mode I think made it easier for user to dispense canola oil. A little bit of play around with the font would be great and a extra clearance in the lid can be more safe and hygienic.

  3. A good concept for oil packaging, I like the shape of the bottle because it looks good to be grabbed by the arthritis patient, however my only concern is when you have to push it against the pan, it might cause dirt for the cap, maybe instead, you can make a push button to dispense the oil instead? maybe the button near where the user is grabbing the bottle at.. other than that, nice concept

  4. interesting shape, and also it looks easy for arthritis to grab. further more, your package is easy to use and can be refillable. good work, but in my opinion, maybe you need a cap protecter to make sure your cap would not get dirty and also stop the oil flow all over the bottle after it been use. beside this. well done.

  5. I like the whole idea of flipping action of the product because it's one the easiest movement that can be made by arthritic patients. The shape is good and minimalist, looks quite ergonomic as well. Maybe the cap can be designed in a way that it is dispensed instead of pushing it onto pan as dirt and food pieces could accumulate around it. Overall, nicely done!
